Hello! We want to meet you and your collections.
California Revealed is a State Library initiative to help California's public libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, and other heritage groups digitize, preserve, and provide online access to archival materials - books, newspapers, photographs, audiovisual recordings, and more - that tell the incredible stories of the Golden State. We also provide access and preservation services for partner organizations with existing digital collections and/or in-house digitization programs. We offer additional support and funding assistance for cataloging, community archiving, and K-12 curriculum development, and work with the State Library to establish Memory Labs at public libraries across California.
Do you have California history hidden in your backlog? Need a basic inventory?
Don't know where to begin with your digitization project?
Need assistance to connect your communities with your online collections?
We are here to help. Opportunities include:
- Digitization & Preservation Assistance
- Description Assistance
