Woman's Club of Palo Alto
During Palo Alto's formative years, the Woman's Club was the women's arm of local government and school affairs at a time when women were ineligible to vote or hold political offices. Uniting people and place, the Woman's Club of Palo Alto builds on a proud history of public engagement. Our members apply themselves in creative and philanthropic ways to accomplish great things both in the local community and within the club.
The Palo Alto Woman's Club's digital collection at California Revealed consists of texts and moving images from the 1890s to 2000s. The collection includes club constitutions and member lists, event programs, financial statements, newsletters, and news clippings about the club, as well as a written National Register of Historic Places nomination determining the Woman's Club property's eligibility for listing.
