The Menlo Park Historical Society, operating at the Menlo Park Historical Association, consists of a group of volunteers working together to preserve the history of Menlo Park. The group focuses on collecting items from the town's past as well as protecting historic buildings. The group was originally located in the historic Gate Lodge when it was first created in 1974. Today, the non-profit organization continues to be active throughout Menlo Park communities. The association has many historical records, including a collection of photographs and recordings of the town's history.
The Menlo Park Historical Association's digital collection at California Revealed consists of audio recordings from the 1960s to the 2000s. The collection includes many oral history recordings of residents of Menlo Park.
