Contains moving images of rail-fan excursions and shots of locomotives and equipment. The film begins with images of an Oahu Railway locomotive on an excursion trip, followed by a rail-fan excursion along the Southern Pacific Coast Division. Also includes shots taken from a Southern Pacific caboose on a freight train, a fan-trip behind a Southern Pacific steam locomotive, and shots of Southern Pacific engines working in a freight yard.
