Studio guest David Feliz promoting Cinco de Mayo events at Cal State East Bay; studio interview with Juan Gonzalez, founder and editor of El Tecolote bilingual newspaper; Tony Guerra interviews Chicano artist Zala at art exhibit; Juan Espinoza on location in San Francisco for interviews of performers involved in Theater Week; Tony Guerra interviews members of musical group Sexteto Diablo; taped segment of performance by Sexteto Diablo. Barrio Expressions was a community access television show documenting Chicanx and Latinx life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year.
