Barrio Expressions: June 12, 1980; December 16, 1980
Barrio Expressions was a community access television show documenting Chicanx and Latinx life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year. Taped segments show mural defacement at A Street & Princeton in Hayward; interviews with Barrio Expressions production staff; Hayward City Council Candidates Night; community meeting re Fuller Community Center.
