Barrio Expressions (earlier title Lo Que Es) was a community access television show documenting Chicanx and Latinx life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year. This episode comprises voice-over and still imagery related to the play "Zoot Suit" by Luis Valdez, touching on aspects of Chicano history and culture.
