Description
Barrio Expressions (previously titled Lo Que Es) was a community access television show documenting Chicanx and Latinx life in the East San Francisco Bay Area. It ran on Hayward cable television from 1976-1985. While the shows were filmed primarily in the Hayward area, they include stories from around the East Bay and San Jose. The show aired weekly, with 26 episodes per year.
Part 2 includes an extended behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the PBS television program Realidades (1975-1977).
