This is the first edition of the college yearbook, La Reata. The theme mentioned in the forward is 'Spreckels, the vast lettuce industry, the picturesque coastline, and the yearly Rodeo...' The volume is dedicated to John H. Murrin. The yearbook includes a brief history of the college which began in 1920 with 14 students, the faculty (numbering 22, including alumni of Stanford, Harvard, and the University of California), student body activities, a listing of students and their hometowns (Salinas, Monterey, Watsonville, Gilroy, Chicago, King City, Gonzales, Nickerson, Kansas, San Leandro, Pacific Grove), organizations, sports, and features (advertising).
