One of the giant Navy patrol planes being launched at the Naval Air Station at San Diego, prior to its take-off on a massed flight with 13 others, to Coco Sola, Canal Zone, a flight of about 3000 miles, down the west coast of Mexico and across the jungles of Nicaragua.
