A 3/4" video tape of a 8mm film silent transfer of the final day at Cal Expo, the California State Fair, during its opening year at its location near the American River. The original film was shot by Bill Rase. Bill Rase (1926-2006), was a well-known Sacramento figure. He founded and performed with the Bill Rase Band starting in the 1950s until his death. He was a disc jockey on local radio in the 1950s, he hosted a television variety show, and portrayed "Bosun Bill" on a children's television show.
