Bill Rase Band #2
This 3/4" video tape of a film shot by Hal Wiley at the Sacramento Musicians Union shows the Bill Rase Band performing. Bill Rase (1926-2006) was a well-known Sacramento figure. He founded and performed with the Bill Rase Band starting in the 1950s until his death. He was also a disc jockey on local radio in the 1950s, hosted a television variety show, and portrayed "Bosun Bill" on a children's television show.
