Howard Shrader interview

An interview with Howard Shrader, who worked for Southern Pacific in Sacramento, California from 1918-1930. Shrader started in the Sacramento Shops as an Apprentice in the Machine Shop. He became a Journeyman Machinist and did extensive machine shop work on engines for the Southern Pacific ferry fleet. Shrader was laid off in 1930 due to the Great Depression.
