Ceremony at the Martin Luther King medical center honoring the career of Dr. Leroy Randolph Weekes and the dedication of the Dr. Leroy R. Weekes, Jr. Medical Support Building. Speakers include John Mack (master of ceremonies), L.L. White (invocation), Kenneth Hahn, Edna Law (patient of Dr. Weekes - tribute and poem), Dr. Lewis Frasier (Charles Drew Medical Society), Dr. James Houghton (Executive Vice-President, Charles Drew Postgraduate Medical School), Dr. Julius Hill, and the introduction of Councilman Gilbert Lindsay.
