Front of postcard depicts a steam train coming up the side of Mt. Tamalpais. In the right margin, a handwritten message is visible. The caption at the bottom of the front image reads, "Scenic Railway, Mount Tamalpais, California." On the left-hand corner of the front of the postcard, the following text is printed: "42. Charles Weidner, Photographer, San Francisco. Printed in Germany." The back of the postcard is postmarked 1906 and addressed to a Miss Bertha Ducommon of Los Angeles.
