In these interviews, retired Jewish, Chicano, and white electricians from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 11 based in Los Angeles, California, discuss their roles as activists fighting against racial discrimination in the trade, which had a history of predominately white and male membership with exclusion and segregation based on race and gender. This includes discriminatory hiring practices as well as discrimination on jobsites
