Description
Ruud studied at the Univeristy of Utah Ballet Department under the mentorship of Willam Christensen. He danced with Utah Civic Ballet, currently Ballet West. In 1975 Ruud became a principal dancer with the San Francisco Ballet. Lew Christensen, Willam Christensen, Jeff Friedman, Michael Smuin, Helgi Tomasson are some of the people Ruud talks about in the interview. Ruud died of AIDS-related illnesses in 1994.
