Minority Stereotyping
Never Completed Project Regarding Minority Stereotyping
1969/1970
This film appears to have been created by the Employment Development Department and consists of two interviews of two members of an employment agency, which may have been part of some larger foundation that advocated on behalf of the interests of minorities and the underemployed. Topics discussed include the need for improved training for the unemployed to meet the changing technology of the time and to meet the changing migration patterns and shifting economies of the time, the need to avoid stereotyping applicants on job placements based on their racial status and the effect of unemployment on families.
