Political office holders and social activists in the Santa Barbara community talk about racism and community issues around diversity, election politics and the small size of the black community in Santa Barbara. The need for affordable housing is discussed. Members from the community include: Isaac Garrett (former President of the Santa Barbara chapter NAACP), David McCumber (former editor of the Santa Barbara News Press), Supervisor Gloria Ochoa, Abdulhamid Akoni, City councilmen Rusty Fairly and Gilbert Garcia, and Babatunde Folayemi. There is one segment in this video that is from a different show and is Jaqueline Taylor talking with actress Nadia Forest. At the end is a segment with Sojourner talking to Sadna about her art and plans for a retreat.
