Health Care: New Alignments in Payment and Control Over the Past Ten Years: Harry Polland, economist, introduces a panel of three: Bruce Poyer, acting secretary of the California Council for Health Plan Alternatives, a Union council; Martin Paley, executive director of the Bay Area Health Facilities Planning Association; and Richard Sasuly, Special Consultant at the State Department of Public Health.(2/12/67) Consumer Issues in Healthcare: Lester Breslow, M.D. gives opening talk at the 2-day Conference of the Association of California Consumers in San Francisco. â€šFreeâ€š Education: Hidden Tax on the Poor: Dr. Milton Freidman attacks on the draft and supports tuition in California state colleges in an address before a University of Chicago Club Meeting in San Francisco. Firing Line: William F. Buckley, Jr. debates â€šRacism and Conservatismâ€š with Congressman John Moss (CA), John Conyers (MI), and Edward Koch (NY). Conyers points out that the panel assembled and the rest of the studio (other than himself) is made up of white people.
