A student at Brockport State University in New York details his experience while on the Springfield College cross country team which he was dismissed from after refusing to remove his headband at track meets and for his liberal philosophy. (70:25-98:35). Excerpts from a two day conference on Capitol Hill on Economic Conversion held on March 31st and April 1st feature snippets from speeches by Earnest Fitzgeral and Seymour Melman. A segment inlcuding interviews with Canyon, CA residents details the pressure felt as a result of legal decisions in their community regarding whether or not they have the right to live in their homes. Members of the Haigh-Ashbury Neighborhood Council (HANC) speak on the land development in their neighborhoods as a result of the expansion University of California, San Francisco's (UCSF) facilities 167:20-200:35).

A report on describes the electoral chicanery and corruption in Chicago politics (74:50-102:48) Interviews with students from Santa Rosa Junior College reveal these students' change in politcal thought after visiting San Francisco to attend the Soledad Brothers' Trial at the San Francisco Hall of Justice (74:50-102:58).
