California State University, Sacramento President James Bond and Governor Ronald Reagan addressed the annual Boy's State Convention, a gathering of high school seniors at CSUS for a week long workshop in state and local government. Bond encouraged the boys to provide productive college leadership. Governor Reagan answered questions about his stand on legalizing marijuana, amnesty for Vietnam deserters and draft resisters, and Watergate.Additional Descriptive Notes: The annual Boy's State Convention was sponsored by the American Legion. The speech by the governor at the convention is a yearly tradition.
