Additional Technical Notes about materials
Clippings are extremely brittle. Please handle with care
foldouts are particularly vulnerable. Under advisement of FAMSF Paper Conservation staff, these have been flagged for the digitization process with acid free paper slips instead of plastic clips. (KIS: I marked if there are any loose clippings - there were only several that were from foldouts that have come apart from age. They fit together perfectly, and I have made notes and indicated where pages are especially fragile and need special care. 8.9.19 KIS) Scrapbook also comes with four separate loose items of ephemera, packed in tissue sleeves, and housed in a large white envelope.
