Segment 1 (sound): Man (appears to be wearing short-sleeve military uniform) commenting on anti-Vietnam demonstrators. "I am convinced that demonstrators are a small faction and not representative of the entire country's feelings. I think we're very popular down there because we're fighting for an ideal together with the Vietnamese people and they appreciate it, and they wanna get the job done, and I'm sure that we can." Reporter asks, "What do you think these demonstrations' effect is on the fighting men over there?" "Uh, it's having no effect, really, because all of the fighting men know why they're there, and these minor demonstrations...I don't feel have any effect whatever."
Segment 2 (silent): Beauty pageant swimsuit competition. Five women on stage in bathing suits; one contestant models her suit.

Reel 3:
Segment 1 (silent): Exterior of Payless supermarket. A Loomis armored vehicle is parked outside. Inside, a policeman and detective are interviewing store staff, a shopper. Appears to be the site of a robbery.
Segment 2 (sound): Close-up of sign for California Division of Forestry Santa Clara Ranger Unit Headquarters, close-up of radio dispatch equipment including Motorola radios. Interview with ranger Jack Burke about wildfire season. "Well, first of all, we called all of our off duty men back. Then we cancelled all days off for the remainder of our men. We send up a daily air patrol to supplement our lookout detection, and we have stepped up our ground fire prevention patrol activity with our regular patrolmen." Reporter asks, "What precautions could the ordinary citizen take to ensure better fire control?" "Well, we're certainly asking the cooperation of all our citizens with this hot weather and the heavy wind we're having, hoping that they will take extra precautions in all of their burning. They should burn only under the directions of a written permit. We ask them to give special attention to children with matches. We have a lot of fires starting from the kids playing with matches. Now one last thing is the incendiary problem this time of year is getting worse -- during the last, oh, 14 hours or so, we've had 3 fires maliciously set by persons unknown, and we ask that people living in the wildland areas be alert to anything of a suspicious nature when strange cars and whatnot are traveling in the area." Followed by silent aerial footage of wildfire in hills.
