Description
A press conference held between reporters and clergy representatives of the San Francisco Conference on Race Religion and Social Concerns (CRRSC). Father Eugene Boyle speaks about witnessing the police raid on the Black Panthers Headquarters in San Francisco's Western Addition district and responds to criticisms about the organization. Father Boyle served as pastor of Sacred Heart Church in the Western Addition, a predominately African-American parish during the 1960s. He helped organize the community in their struggle against issues concerning poverty and police brutality, and the decisions being put forth by the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency.
