Actuality of a National Peace Action Coalition (NPAC) rally held at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Los Angeles in April, 1971. The emcee for the evening is actor Georg Stanford Brown. On Reel 1, Brown introduces a film, """"Hiroshima & Nagasaki"""", the audio of which can be heard on the recording, and introduces Hiroshima survivor Setsuko Yoshimura. Reel 2 features a speech by Setsuko Yoshimura in Japanese, which is followed by an English translation by actor George Takei, and a speech by Japanese-American activist Pat Sumi. Reel 3 features a speech by Vietnam War veteran and anti-war activist Ron Kovic. Reel 4 features speeches by actors Sarah Cunningham, Georg Stanford Brown (who reads a message from Donald Sutherland, Jane Fonda and the USSF Troupe Show), and Burt Lancaster, who reads the poem """"I Come and Stand at Every Door.""""
