Description
The film features a day at Sacred Heart parish in Oakland and Saint Anne of the Sunset Church in San Francisco. The footage includes Sacred Heart Church parish groups with names of its members identified in the film. Additional footage features Catholic institutions located in Oakland including the Saint Joseph Home for the Deaf, founded by the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Carondelet in 1895, and the Dominican Friars at Saint Albert's Priory. Additional scenes include a baseball game at Oaks stadium, views overlooking the town, and the construction and cornerstone ceremony for Saint Anne Church.
