Celesta Scott Walters: Councilwomen, long time resident, business and professional womens clubs. Cousin wrote a book in 1935, it covers some her family history in Nebraska back to 1628, some before the Mayflower, revolutionary war fought by ancestors. Childhood, helped father on farm, drove tractor, tended orchards. Taught 11 yrs. in Nebraska and Southern California in 1935, did secretarial work for faculty. Came to Calif. in 1938, drove in covered wagon (later day pioneer). Soddie houses. Came to Ontario to teach.
