On side one of this recording, Archivist Leonard Wheeler of the Model Colony History Room talks with local resident Frank Hagen about his life and experience as a United States diplomat. He met his future wife, Connie, in the Philippines and married in 1946. Mr. Hagen talks somewhat about his activities in Ontario near the end of side one. On side two, Mr. Hagen and Mr. Wheeler talk with Mr. Hagen's brother-in-law William B. Efonda who was involved in business and commerce in the United States and in the Philippines. The transcript only covers a short discussion between Mr. Hagen and Mr. Wheeler when the topic is Ontario. The remainder of the recording was not transcribed.
