Bill Rase scrapbook 1

1948 to 1964

ase (1926-2006) was a well-known Sacramento musician and media figure. He founded and performed with the Bill Rase Band starting in the 1950s until his death. He was a disc jockey on local radio in the 1950s, hosted a television variety show, and portrayed "Bosun Bill" on a children's television show. Scrapbook 1 (Bill Rase Band, Disc Jockey, TV Days
1948-1964) includes a list of all his band's paid musical performances, photographs, ephemera, correspondence, and newspaper and magazine clippings.
