Segment 1 (sound): Interview with California Lieutenant Governor Glenn Anderson and his wife Lee Anderson. Anderson is asked, being number two on the ballot, if he tries harder at campaigning. Mrs. Anderson is asked how she likes campaigning. Anderson says they try hard and find reception up and down the state, and they're going to win on the basis of the administration's record. Mrs. Anderson says she likes campaigning and meeting people.
Segment 2 (sound): Statements from California Assemblyman William Stanton on the topic of industrial development in San Jose and the proposed Swift meat packing plant. Stanton says the San Jose City Council and Mayor need to be transparent about the standards they are using to judge industrial growth and development and give people an opportunity to decide.
