Booklet for fall planting, mentioning bulbs, roses, fruit trees, nut trees, and Albert Etter apples. The California Nursery Company sold palms, roses, ornamentals trees and shrubs, and fruit trees from 1884 to 1971. The nursery imported plants, propagated plants, and sold them domestically and abroad. The owners were prominent horticulturalists: John Rock 1884-1904, George C. Roeding 1917-1928, and George C. Roeding, Jr. 1928-1972. The nursery provided plants for world's fairs, industrial, residential, government projects, as well as landscape services during the 1920s and on.
