Pictured are Marty 'Hardrock' Hess showing the mine’s exterior and interior, deep in the Santa Lucia Mountains. Photographer Brenda Chiappone is pictured in one photo. An oral history tape documenting this 1975 uncovering of the Lost Queen Hattie Mine was recorded by the San Antonio Valley Historical Association.
