Original camera footage edited for broadcast for KNTV San Jose Channel 11 news. Includes national, local, and sports coverage. The broadcast script for this date did not survive.
Segment 1 (silent): Women wearing beauty pageant tiaras and ribbons pinned to their dresses gather around a Plymouth Fury convertible while two men wearing baseball caps with upside-down V logos explain the car to them. The women then take some kind of driving test with the men in the car where they attempt to parallel park the car without tipping over a small cone set up on the pavement. The car is the official car for an event, but the lettering is not clear enough to read. [These women are likely Miss California contestants, getting ready for the parade in Santa Cruz]
Segment 2 (silent): Lawn party that appears to be in the back yard of a residence. An older woman wearing cat-eye glasses appears to be the host, with a corsage pinned to her sleeveless dress. People are seated, or standing, holding Dixie cups, mingling.
