Oral argument by attorneys before the California Supreme Court on April 2, 1991 in a suit brought by a former electrician against a manufacturer alleging that the electrician contracted asbestosis and other lung ailments through exposure to asbestos in the course of his work. Courts in federal and other state jurisdictions have followed the court's rulings in this case 16 times during the period 1991-2013.
