Words Into Pictures was a screenwriting conference held by the Writers Guild Foundation in 1999. It offered educational and inspirational events focused on elevating the prominence of the screenwriter and the importance of the script in the entertainment industry. Panel discussion with distinguished filmmakers regarding the challenges of tackling non-fiction storytelling, including how to remain faithful to the source material, as well as the ethical and legal issues that come with making a "true story". Panelists are Scott Alexander, Larry Karaszewski, Jimmy McGovern, Cindy Myers, Frank Pierson, David W. Rintels, Jan Sardi, and Jim Sheridan.
