Comedy legend Carl Reiner is a prolific writer, screenwriter, playwright, director, actor, and producer. After gaining experience in New York City as a writer for television series Your Show of Shows and Caesar’s Hour, Reiner moved to California in 1960 to develop The Dick Van Dyke Show. He also directed and co-wrote a number of successful films with Steve Martin, including Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid (1982) and The Man With Two Brains (1983). In recent years, Reiner has remained a steady presence in film and television and has written several books, including the memoirs My Anecdotal Life and I Remember Me.
