00:00-32:24 Part 2 of 2. Bert (Herbert) Heron (1883-1968) interviewed on May 25, 1967 by Betty Hoag McGlynn. Artist, writer, poet and first mayor of the city of Carmel, CA, Heron discusses early photographers, including Edward Weston (1886-1958); the founding of the Little Theater (now Forest Theater) in 1910; and his Seven Arts bookstore and Seven Arts Building.
33:11-end. Charles Thomas (1913-19??) interviewed on June 7, 1967 by Betty Hoag McGlynn. Topics include: his early life in Texas; education in Oklahoma; his artistic work on stage sets, radio, Broadway and other theaters; serving as head of the Carmel Art Association in 1960.
