"From Black Muslim to Muslim" seminar given in Oakland by Imam Saadiq Saafir. Saadiq Saafir was Imam of Masjid Ibaadillah, a Los Angeles mosque on West Jefferson Boulevard. He was co-founder of the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, participated in the first Islamic conference on apartheid, and was a lecturer at the California state prison system. Imam Saadiq Saafir discusses issues affecting California's Black Muslim community.
