Audiotaped interview with nurseryman John S. Armstrong, May 21, 1961, on the occasion of the announcement of the 1962 All-American Rose Winners. The John S. Armstrong rose, a red floribunda, was named in his honor and was one of four winners. Armstrong talks about what it means to have a rose named after him and how he got his start in nurseries and roses.
