The University of California, Santa Barbara, Department of Special Collections online collection contains audiovisual material (moving images and audio) from the 1960s to the 1990s. A majority of the collection consists of video from the Califas: Chicano Art and Culture in California Collection, which documents a major 1982 conference held at the University of California, Santa Cruz, as well as musical theatrical works, cultural events such as el Dia de los Muertos, and interviews with artists and authors related to Chicano culture and society in California. The collection also includes video from the Sojourner Kincaid Rolle Papers, an African-American poet and playwright, peacemaker, community activist, and television producer.
