A themed collection of oral histories and interviews recorded between the 1970s and 1990s. Topics include, but are not limited to, early California settlers, ranching, homosexuality, and the East Bay during World War II.
Audiovisual material relating to Mexican folk music. A majority of the themed collection contains rehearsal and performance recordings of the Mexican Players at the Padua Hills Theatre. Other material includes recorded oral interviews and histories of Mexican players and hostesses at the Padua Hills Theatre, such as Michaela Jimenez, Gilberto Flores, and Casilda Amador Thoreson.
