The Eastern California Museum collection contains audiovisual materials (moving images, audio) and texts from the 1910s to the early 2000s. The majority of this collection consists of oral histories, home movies and promotional films, and include subjects and topics such as the Sierra Nevada Mountains, resource management, Owens Valley, the Eastern Sierras, mining and more.
The Other Minds Archive collection contains audiovisual material (moving images and audio) from the 1960s to 2010s. A majority of the collection consists of filmed footage related to local and visiting composers and muscicians of San Francisco, California.
The University of Southern California, USC Libraries, Special Collections online collection contains audiovisual material (moving images and audio) from the 1940s to present day. The recordings in this collection include videos from the USC Thornton School of Music records which document lectures by notable composers such as Henry Mancini and Andre Previn, as well as video and audio which document and comment on the brutal beating of Rodney King in Los Angeles and its effect on race relations in that era.
